DMCA Policy
Effective Date: June 30, 2026
WorldBizDir respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy outlines how to report copyright infringement and our response procedures.
1. Overview
WorldBizDir respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and applicable international copyright law, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to us.
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that copyrighted content has been posted on our website without authorisation, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to us using the procedure described below.
2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, please send a written notice to us at support@worldbizdir.online with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Your notice must include all of the following:
Identification of the copyrighted work
A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list of the works.
Identification of the infringing material
A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on our website. Please provide a specific URL or other sufficient information to allow us to locate the content.
Your contact information
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address so that we can contact you regarding your complaint.
Good faith statement
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
Accuracy statement
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Signature
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
Warning: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability. Submitting a false DMCA notice can result in legal consequences for the submitter.
3. Our Response to Valid Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:
- Review the notice to confirm it meets the requirements outlined above
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the user who posted the content, providing a copy of the takedown notice
- Inform the user of their right to file a counter-notice
We aim to process valid takedown notices within 5 business days.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that content you posted was removed as a result of a mistaken or erroneous DMCA takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notice to us at support@worldbizdir.online with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". Your counter-notice must include:
Identification of the removed content and its location before removal (e.g., the URL)
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice
Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the removed content.
5. Repeat Infringers
WorldBizDir maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We will take such action if a user has been the subject of multiple valid DMCA takedown notices and the notices were not successfully refuted via the counter-notice procedure.
6. Designated DMCA Agent
All DMCA notices and counter-notices should be sent to our designated contact:
For fastest processing, please include "DMCA" in the email subject line and attach all required documentation as outlined in Section 2.
