About Nottingham Tree Surgeons

We're Nottingham Tree Surgeons, a small firm at St Nicholas Court on Castle Gate in the centre of Nottingham, run day to day by Harry Anderson. We've more than 20 years in tree services and trees are all we do, so if you need tree surgeons in Nottingham, you've found us. Our arborists are trained, certified and qualified, and our climbers are qualified in aerial tree work and chainsaw use. We hold public liability and employer's liability insurance, and anyone on your job is covered by personal injury insurance too. Certificates on request. You can also find our Nottingham tree surgery office on Google Maps. We do tree removal, pruning, crown reduction, crown thinning, stump grinding, hedge trimming, wood chipping and site clearance. Guide prices (October 2026): tree removal from £75, tree pruning from £50, crown reduction from £75, crown thinning from £60, stump grinding from £100, hedge trimming from £75, wood chipping from £100, site clearance £15 to £35 per m2. They're rough guides, not fixed quotes: access, size, how close the tree is to buildings and how much waste there is all change the cost. We cover Nottingham, Arnold, Beeston, Carlton, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Stapleford and West Bridgford. If you're nearby but not on that list, ring anyway and we'll tell you straight. Every job gets a free inspection and a written, no-obligation quote. We sort Tree Preservation Order and conservation area paperwork with the council, can normally start within a few days, clean up properly before we leave, and you only pay once the job is finished as agreed. Green waste is recycled where we can, and a good bit of the wood goes to local businesses, schools and charity projects. Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Closed Sundays.
